Sustaining Explicit Direct Instruction for Non-District Settings (Day 2 of 3)

This three-part series for Special Education teachers and administrators will focus on key factors associated with effective implementation of Explicit Direct Instruction to improve outcomes for students with disabilities.
The series will begin with a review of the key components of Explicit Direct Instruction, a research-based framework for developing and delivering classroom lessons to students of all abilities, which has proven to be especially effective for students with disabilities. Over the three meeting dates key implementation drivers that enhance successful implementation will be discussed, with schools having the opportunity to assess their systems, leverage points for change and develop action plans that will be implemented throughout the school year.
*Presenter tip: Participants are recommended to have attended and completed an Explicit Direct Instruction workshop series prior to enrolling in this series.
