IEPs for English Language Learners

October 2 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

Free

The Individualized Education Program (IEP) is the cornerstone of the special education process for each student. It is the tool to document how one student’s special needs related to his/her disability will be met within the context of an educational environment.

English Language Learners (ELLs) have specific needs that other students may not. In this training, participants will learn about how to write an effective IEP which reflects the needs of ELLs with disabilities.

This workshop will also be offered on September 19, 2019 at Rockland BOCES and October 8, 2019 at Putnam|Northern Westchester BOCES.
